Photo Elysée’s publications provide continuity for the museum’s exhibitions and accompany all of its activities. They also include original works such as the nominees’ and the winner’s books for the Prix Elysée. The diversity of titles and genres makes for a rich and varied catalogue that will soon be expanded to notably include a section on children’s books.
The co-publication of a large number of books from the museum’s catalogue, in conjunction with renowned editors from Switzerland and abroad, are a guarantee that these books, the photographers and their works will receive wide visibility in German-speaking Switzerland and around the world.
Photo Elysée – Collection
Since 2016, Photo Elysée, Editions Noir sur Blanc and Editions Scheidegger & Spiess have been co-publishing a collection of catalogs of the museum’s exhibitions. Since 2019, this collection is exclusively dedicated to exhibition catalogs produced from the Photo Elysée collections. The coherent and distinctive graphic identity of the collection provides a valuable setting for each work, whether thematic or monographic.
The result of a partnership between Photo Elysée and Parmigiani Fleurier, the Prix Elysée is a production support prize in the field of photography, which offers financial assistance and museum support to artists who are passionate about photography and books, so that they can take a decisive step in their career.
Our publications include various books and exhibition catalogs with different titles, published by Photo Elysée in collaboration with Swiss or foreign publishers.
La Photo pour les enfants Collection
Photo Elysée has joined forces with the Keribus publishing house to reinvent the concept of photographic books for young readers. In the form of a leporello, they aim to stimulate the curiosity and imagination of children and to help them discover new emotions through a selection of photographs found in the fabulous and inexhaustible collections of Photo Elysée.
