Photo Elysée at Paris Photo 2026

200 Years of Photography: A Collection

Photo Elysée will be exhibiting at Paris Photo from November 12 to 15, 2026, to showcase the richness of its collection, which comprises more than one million objects spanning nearly two centuries of photographic history.

To mark the Bicentenaire de la photographie, the museum will unveil a recently acquired work each day. This presentation highlights a living collection that continues to grow through discoveries, research, and the study of both historical and contemporary works.

Photo Elysée will also announce the publication, in 2027, of a reference book dedicated to its collection, to be published by Éditions Noir sur Blanc. This publication will shed new light on the richness and diversity of an exceptional photographic heritage, as well as on the narratives and perspectives that shape the history of the medium.
