Dorothée Baumann

The Avant-première gallery, that presents the work of a photographer in training in our building at Avenue de l’Elysée 4, continues its school visits.
Among the portfolios submitted by students from Ecole Cantonale d’art du Valais (ECAV) in Sierre, the Musée de l’Elysée has selected the work of Dorothée Baumann for this exhibition, third in its kind. Dorothée Baumann is interested in the relationship between high medical technologies and intimacy. Her most recent series, “Opérateur”, documents the launching and the development of the new centre of fundamental research in neurosciences, the “Brain and Behavior Laboratory” of Geneva University.
