XXL projections

Photo Elysée × ECAL

Dive into an immersive and magnetic visual environment with XXL projections presented from December 2 to 31, from 5 pm to 9 pm, every evening without exception!

A launch event is organized on Saturday, December 2nd, starting at 5:30 pm on the terrace of the Arcadia restaurant, where mulled wine will be offered.

As part of an interdisciplinary project within the Visual Communication department of ECAL/École cantonale d‘art de Lausanne, students from the Photography, Graphic Design, and Media & Interaction Design Bachelor programs have developed immersive video projects intended to dress the facades of the mudac and Photo Elysée.

Upon completion of the creation process, five artworks were selected by Photo Elysée in conjunction with ECAL. They immerse us in a sea of images with diverse and playful themes, provoking reflection on our perception of scales, functions and forms of a building.

This project began under the impulse of Lausanne Lumières, which collaborated with ECAL and Photo Elysée for its realization.

Find more XXL projections at La Nuit des Images, which will make its come back on Saturday, June 22, 2024!
